30 Days of Gifting: Gourmet Infused Honey

For the tea or coffee lover in your life or even just the chef of the house, this recipe for Gourmet Infused Honey is deeeeeeeelicious!

You can opt for almost any of the Young Living Vitality essential oils to create these. Maybe you already have a number of the Vitality line (EO’s specifically labeled for internal use) and want to mix up a few gifts for a variety of people

  1. Pick up a cute glass jar from…almost anywhere. If you’re thinking of making more than one of these, grab a few online like these below or if you need more, this set of 12 with labels is perfect. Or, have fun searching out unique honey jars at antique store. If that’s your thing. $4, 3oz glass jar, Amazon
  2. Source out a good, local, raw honey: $10, depending on your area
  3. Grab a bottle of your favorite Vitality EO: $14.75 for Thieves
  4. Mix in 20-30 drops of essential oil to 3oz of local, raw honey. If you can’t find that, any organic honey will be good.
  5. Pro Tip: Thieves, Lemon, Basil, Black Pepper or Lavender are great oils to infuse in your honey. Thieves is amazing to swirl into a cup of black tea to soothe a sore throat. Lavender is delicious drizzled over goat cheese. Black Pepper makes crispy tofu sizzle and Basil works works well in bruschetta.
  6. To go that extra step, swirl in dried herbs of the same oil. Organic lavender buds or tri-colored peppercorns make a beautiful presentation. If you want to go above and beyond, toss in this beautiful organic rose tea blend with your lavender honey to create a floral delight.
  7. Gift Total: $20 and that gives you extra honey for anything you need! Elderberry syrup, anyone?
