All of this was FREE. Friends, I am going to be honest with you. You are being straight up dumb if you’re purchasing non-toxic, natural cleaning supplies at your local store. You know how I know this? Because I was dumb too.

I will also start by saying, I was not a fan of MLM’s. Multi-level Marketing companies. My parents were involved in AmWay and Mary Kay and I saw them lose a lot of money on crap products. As a kid, I HATED the AmWay products. Egggggggggghhhhh, so gross. And I saw all the products and parties and pushing my mom had to go through to sell Mary Kay with little benefit. So, when I was chatting with a friend (who, yes, became my YL mentor, Chrissy) at first I was all “No effing way.”

Then I really dug into the company. I wanted to prove that they were phony. That is was all just a marketing ploy and no one really benefitted.

I. Was. Wrong.

There, I said it and that’s not a usual thing coming out of my mouth.

One, their oils, which is the reason I became a member, are pure. The lavender smells like the lavender in my garden in summer. The peppermint and spearmint, the same. They’re potent, with no chemical or fragrance smell. If you’ve purchased or used oils before, you know what I’m talking about. If not, I’ll tell you, there’s a difference. The biggest things I noticed was in my diffuser; I would have used 5-8 drops of a store bought brand and only 1-2 of YL.

Two, their compensation plan. At first I was confused about how everything worked, what all the initials stood for, and how in the hell was I going to make any money.

But it’s so generous. Almost like they want people to succeed or something? Weird. When their employees succeed, they talk about it which gets more people understanding the power of plants and natural products which equals a cleaner, healthier world. Yes, from you home to the world is a long way but a big change starts with a small movement.
