Ready for #HolidayGifting? Yeah, me either.
However, this one’s easy: Peppermint Hot Chocolate Gift Mug. And to make it even better, I’ve got a few recipes for you to help you on your way.
This gift is perfect for co-workers, friends, teachers, mentors, bus drivers… anyone, ok? Let’s get started:
- Grab a beautiful and cozy mug at a discount or dollar store: $1
- Either use one of the recipes below for #cleancocoa and mix up a batch or pick up a few bags of gourmet instant cocoa: $2-3, depending
- Grab a bottle of Peppermint Vitality: $10.25
- Stuff the cocoa and Peppermint EO into the mug, wrap with a simple ribbon or tie it up with a pretty napkin for that #extra effort.
- Gift Total: $12. And it’s reusable. The Peppermint Oil alone has approx 85 drops and can be used for everything from this hot chocolate to diffusing- a lasting gift, for sure.

If you decide to mix up your own cocoa to gift, these recipes will make more than enough for your gifting and for you! I suggest gifting about 6-8 tablespoons per mug in a small reusable bag.
Clean Cocoa Mix: paleo, vegan option
- 1 Cup Organic Unsweetened Dark Chocolate Powder
- 1 Cup Organic Coconut Cream Milk Powder
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup Organic Coconut Sugar or Honey Powder, depends on desired sweetness. You can always add more but once it’s too sweet, it can’t go back. Honey is sweeter than Coconut Sugar so go less if you’re using honey.
- 3/4 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
Low Carb Hot Cocoa Mix: low carb, keto, vegan
- 3/4 cup Organic Coconut Cream Milk Powder
- 1/2 cup low carb sugar substitute or powdered sweetener of your choice
- 3/4 cup Organic Unsweetened Dark Chocolate Powder
- 3/4 teaspoon Pink Sea Salt
DIRECTIONS: (write this on a cute note and attach to you gift or print out the one blow!)
Mix 3 Tablespoons with 6-8oz of hot water. Add more or less depending on preference. Add 1 drop of peppermint vitality to each mug and stir. For extra creamy cocoa, mix with hot unsweetened almond milk!
